必要な工具
スナップリングプライヤー
種類が幾つかあります、更に先端に角度がついてる物もあります。全て揃えるのはお金が掛かってしまいます。マルチに使える、画像の左下がお薦めです。
右下のプライヤーは、【広げる】【縮める】【角度を変える】4点セットになっています。便利そうですが、力を入れると外れやすいです。握る位置と先端がオフセットされるためだと思います。
2点、3点プーラー
ゴムのベルトが回る、プーリーを外すのに必要になります。力が均等に伝わる3点プーラーがお薦めです。
手順のおさらいと注意点
ベアリングの交換は使いたい時に使えないトラブルを未然に防げるので重要なメンテナンスです。いつやればいいのか？迷っている時の判断が難しいと思います。
目で見ても、触ってみても気になる所がわからない。それならば、ナイフの交換やナイフの反転等、定期的なタイミングでベアリングの交換が推奨されます。
ベアリングの周りが赤くサビが付いている。手がしびれる程、振動が大きくなった気がする。使って違和感を感じてる場合は、信じて交換してください。効果が実感できるはずです。
交換作業時の注意点
動画では、編集と時間の都合で地味な作業を割愛してる部分があります。作業してる時に、錆びた軸や腐食したベアリングは抜きづらい、取り付けがきつい。その場合は、潤滑スプレーで浸透させて時間を空けてください。
ベアリングの内側になるシャフト軸、ベアリングの外側にはまる溝。どちらもヤスリ掛けしてスムーズに脱着できるようにします。決して、目一杯の力で叩き込まないようにして下さい。ベアリングを損傷させる恐れがあります。
